NDK Infosec are working closely with a world leading broadcast media company who are recruiting a Senior Cyber Security Analyst. As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst you will be a part of a huge technology investment, working to identify opportunities to improve overall cyber security in technical and non-technical controls, with a key focus on cyber risk.
The role of a Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be to become involved with consulting on large, business critical projects to provide valuable security input. There will also be high levels of communication with senior stakeholders within the organisation as the firm undergoes an extensive technology investment.
Key skills required:
- Working experience in conducting control assessments and reporting on associated risks.
- In-depth understanding of Cyber Risk and how it applies to agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of security control frameworks
- Working technical experience, particularly involving Cloud and Collaboration Applications would be preferable.
- Capability to map and embed process workflows into tooling to enable automation and continually develop and innovate.
- Degree in Computer Science or Technical Engineering or equivalent.
- GIAC, SANS or CISSP qualification would be preferred but is not essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing, maintaining and continually improving the Cyber Risk capability for the benefit of the Cyber Security team and the organisation.
- Lead and support the Cyber Security ongoing cyber risk assessments across all wider areas of the organisation.
- Providing technical expertise in the operational aspects of security tools related to Data Security, Risk management, and Security Detection and Response.
- Take ownership and drive improvements for these services to enable automation and integration into other Cyber Security capabilities managed by the team.
- Develop and manage projects to ensure security controls are integrated from the beginning and complete security control assessments when required.
- Document and maintain Cyber Security documentation, i.e. Policies, Standards, Runbooks, playbooks and standard operating procedures.
- You’ll be the Senior Cyber Security Analyst in the team, alongside your role to develop Cyber Risk, you’ll also have the opportunity to mentor less experienced Analysts.
- Act as a point of escalation for Cyber Security incidents and when needed lead and navigate major Cyber Security incidents.
- Provide technical security expertise to organisation Technology teams
- Assist the Cyber Security team to deliver training and awareness across the organisation.
