NDK Infosec are working closely with a world leading broadcast media company who are recruiting a Lead Cloud Security Engineer. In this role you will be the go-to person for Cloud Security Engineering. The role of a Lead Cloud Security Engineer will be very hands-on to develop and maintain security tools that give a high level of security assurance. There will be high levels of communication with engineering teams, developers and wider cyber security teams to ensure effective innovation. This position is ideal for anyone looking for a new challenge in an organisation that prides themselves in innovation. It gives high levels of autonomous working and the flexibility and freedom to implement change.
Key Skills:
  • Cloud security engineering experience is essential.
  • Strong experience in orchestration and automation in security.
  • Experience in custom tool development and contributing to open source communities.
  • AWS experience (additional experience in Azure and GCP would be preferable).
  • In-depth understanding of working within an agile environment.
  • Experience in automation to scale problem-solving.
  • Confident in communicating and working with senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled in championing security throughout wider teams.
  • Innovative and creative approach to addressing complex technical challenges.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tooling such as Terraform and AWS Cloud Formation.
  • Confident in programming languages and scripting e.g. Scala, Ruby, Java and NodeJS.
What You’ll be Doing:
  • Creating, defining and embedding technical security principles.
  • Identifying security vulnerabilities in a proactive manner and providing comprehensive resolutions.
  • Developing and maintaining security tools for secure software development.
  • Creating a centralised security reporting dashboard for cloud platforms.
  • Assisting in monitoring and responding to threats across cloud platforms.
